The Center was founded in 2009 as part of the College of Education's mission to serve the university community's state, national and international obligation as a premier public graduate research university. The center is dedicated to serving the university community through encouraging the growth and development of faculty resources, student opportunities and staff enrichment options.
The Center is located in the Stone Building on the main campus of Florida State University and adheres to a set of values including, but not limited to, integrity, quality, innovative learning, cutting-edge research and community service. The Center's primary goal is advancing best professional practices and innovative research in higher education with an emphasis on the Community/State College system.
